Loving Correction
Dear Daddy:
Down here in GA we just had another instance of institutional
hate-crime, when the GA Baptists tossed two churches out of their
denomination. What had the churches done to deserve this? They only
lovingly allowed homosexuals to be involved in the full program, including
laboring as officers! What kind of denomination could do this----at this
late date?
By the way, you and your kind make me sick--so intolerant and always
trying to impose your morality on others.

What kind of denomination indeed? Those Baptists are obviously a very
conservative one -- why, I hear it took them over ten years of the antics of
those churches before they finally acted! I bet some folk began to think
what was going on was with full approval -- how unloving not to have just
applied correction years ago!
As for your comment about my being "intolerant" -- I , who allow essentially
all views to be expressed here -- was a bit shocked at first. But then, I
finally began to appreciate that you obviously seek my approval--you must
feel that Daddy is in the enviable position of being able to practice
toleration! That implies superiority! Thank you! I will try even harder to
be more sensitive to those with inferior beliefs and behaviors!
But, please never let me be accused of "imposing my morality" -- that
morality is what I threw out many years ago when I got saved. It wasn't any
better than yours. If I could impose a morality, it would be only that true
one -- the morality of Jesus. And He does a fine job of handling that
chore. Try living for Him and enjoying it -- or dying without Him , and finding out what true imposition really is.
