Push for the Finish Line!

PASADENA, MD., Nov. 01 /Covenant News Wire Service/ -- We must honor God, defend the Family, and restore the Republic. After hundreds of radio programs, dozens of TV interviews, a handful of C-SPAN appearances, several mentions on CNN, scores of speeches, a thousand meetings and about a million decisions, we're down to the last few hours. But it's not over, yet! We need to push to the finish line!

I urge you to, please download the poll watcher handouts, go to the polls and help us to finish the job. Studies show that many people go to the polls undecided or at least unsure. On Tuesday, there will be many, many people who will be glad to learn of an alternative to the lesser of two evils and, if asked, they may very well vote with us. Please help me to ask them. A friendly smile and a simple request for their vote may encourage millions of folks to take a second look at our materials and to study the information you will hand them.

It will make a huge difference.

I will be visiting some nearby polling places on Tuesday and also preparing my remarks for our BIG, GIANT, HUGE, VICTORY CELEBRATION to be held in Annapolis on Tuesday evening. I urge everyone who can make it to attend. Dr. Chuck Baldwin, Chairman Jim Clymer, Howard Phillips, Scott Whiteman, John Lofton and many others will join me in thanking all of you who have worked so hard to restore the American Constitutional Republic.

In the meantime, tomorrow (Monday) I'll be appearing on about a dozen radio programs all accross the country, making our case for a return to the American view of Law and Government. I am grateful to God that my voice has held up during these last few months. (A bad sore throat can really be an impediment to a campaign.)

Please accept my humble thanks for all your faithful work during this campaign adventure. We've made millions of people aware of the Constitution Party and the need to return to Constitutional government in America. We have also been telling people about the need to become educated about the history and heritage of liberty in America. As a result, many classes of Institute on the Constitution have formed and many people are actively learning and teaching others about the foundational principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of these United States. All of this is most encouraging.

As I have said all along, the victory for us in this campaign is in doing our duty. Robert E. Lee once wrote, "there is a true glory and a true honor, the glory of duty done -- the honor of the integrity of principle." This should be our aim -- to do our duty. If we have spoken truthfully and clearly and plainly, and faithfully performed the work that God has given us to do, then He will grant His blessing as He has promised.

As I write these words, I realize that I will never adequately be able to thank all of you who have performed your duty so wonderfully in this campaign. I ask you to accept my humble thanks and to recommit yourselves to the task that lies ahead. Win or lose on Tuesday, we must not cease in our efforts to bring honor to God, defend the God-ordained jurisdiction of the family, and restore the American Constitutional representative Republic.
